COVID-19 District of Taylor Important Information

INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE WILL BE REGULARLY UPDATED

We are closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 pandemic and taking proactive measures to prevent the spread.

We strongly encourage everyone to do their part and help "flatten the curve":

  • Social distancing; even though you may not be sick, please maintain at least 2 metres (6 feet) from one another
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Do not touch your face, eyes, nose or mouth
  • When you sneeze or cough, cover your mouth and nose with a disposable tissue or the crease of your elbow
  • Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
  • Do not share food, drinks, utensils, etc.
  • Avoid others who are unwell
  • Stay at home if you are unwell

Also, we implore the community to:

  • Only rely on official sources of information
  • Not engage in panic buying or hoarding (you should have enough supplies to quarantine for 14 days; beyond that you could be negatively impacting your neighbours)
  • Check on neighbours from a safe distance if they are self-isolating, immune compromised or seniors
