Recreation Services - Peace Passage Skating Club

The Peace Passage Skating Club was formed in 1992 by a group of dedicated volunteers committed to offering skaters of all levels a chance to experience the joy of skating.  The award winning arena, Taylor & District Ice Centre, is home of the Peace Passage Skating Club which is nestled in the beautiful Peace Valley.  The Club is sanctioned by Skate Canada and offers a variety of programs for all ages, levels, and abilities.  Preschool, Canskate, Hockey Canskate, Teen/Adult and Special Olympics programs teach participants basic to more advanced skating skills to enable them to continue on in their goals, whether they want to go on to hockey, figure skating or just be able to enjoy recreational skating.  We also offer skaters the opportunity to learn the art of figure skating in our StarSkate and Competitive programming.  Our skating club is also proud to offer synchronized skating and power skating.  Peace Passage also hosts a Spring Skating School which runs for five weeks in April and May and neighboring clubs are welcome to participate.
