	<strong>Bridge Maintenance</strong></h3>
<p>
	Currently there are two scheduled events for the Alaska Highway. Keep current by checking the <a href="http://www.drivebc.ca/#mapView&amp;z=7&amp;ll=56.422217%2C-120.841449" target="_blank">Drive BC </a>before heading out for the long weekend or summer vacation.</p>
<p>
	<strong>Highway 97 Both directions -</strong> Bridge Maintenance 27 km north of Junction with Highway 2, in Dawson Creek 7:00 am to 3:30 pm on Tue May 15. The road is reduced to single lane alternating traffic. Updated on Tue May 15 at 6:40 am. (ID# -34028)<br />

	Access to Peace Island Park camp ground is going to remain open however continue to&nbsp;check the <a href="http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-78_metric_e.html" target="_blank">Environment Canada</a> website for the latest updates.</p>
<p>
	<a href="http://www.wateroffice.ec.gc.ca/google_map/google_map_e.html?search_by=p&amp;province=BC" target="_blank"><img alt="" src="http://www.districtoftaylor.com/images/uploads/content-images/Taylor_Water_Discharge_Map.JPG" style="margin: 2px; width: 325px; float: right; height: 216px" /></a>Water&nbsp;levels for the Pine and Peace Rivers are expected to rise&nbsp;throughout the spring and early summer but should have a limited impact on park operations.&nbsp;Currents and rapids are going to be strong on all local rivers during spring run off&nbsp;so&nbsp;please be cautious when boating on all rivers within the area due to rising waters and strong winds expected within the region. We would also like to say &quot;Thank-You&quot; to the Taylor Elementary School for allowing us to play in the School Gym when we were unable to use the Community Hall.</p>

	Service between Taylor and Fort St John is available Monday to Friday. The bus leaves Fort St. John at 8:15 a.m. to pick-up in Taylor. The return trip to Taylor leaves Fort St. John at 3:00 p.m.</p>
<p>
	All residents are eligible to use the Taylor service&nbsp;for a &nbsp;fare&nbsp;of $4.00 per passenger however&nbsp;priority&nbsp;will be given to those&nbsp;that have a disability that&nbsp;limits their access to&nbsp;conventional transit services without assistance. <strong>All trips must be booked in advance </strong>by calling 250-787-7433. Funding is shared between the City of Fort St John, Peace River Regional District, District of Taylor and BC Transit.</p>
