Date Change of Committee of the Whole Meeting
The September 17, 2013 Committee of the Whole meeting conflicts with UBCM and it is expected that the majority of the Committee members will be in Vancouver attending the conference.

"THAT, the District of Taylor change the Committee of the Whole meeting date from September 17, 2013 to September 24, 2013 given that the date conflicts with UBCM."

Taylor Sustainability Survey Prize Winner Announced
The District of Taylor would like to thank the many local residents that took the time to complete the online Taylor sustainability survey that was conducted over the last several weeks.
The amount of input gathered was amazing and shows the support that our community has for community based decision making processes.
A big congratulations goes out to our 16GB iPod winner Pauline Plourde.
Full survey results will be passed on to community members via the District of Taylor website shortly.
Smart Meter Notification from BC Hydro
Starting in July 2011 through December 2012, BC Hydro and Corix, our BC-based contractor, is exchanging more than 1.8 million meters. Meter exchanges in your community will commence in May 2012 and are scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2012.
Invest in Taylor- NDIT Industrial Site Profile
The industrial development park offers 15.066 hectares of easily developed industrial land in the heart of the District of Taylor. The industrial park is located along a paved access road with 100% capacity off the Alaska Highway which leads to the Fort Saint John Airport 10.2km north of the site. The airport has daily flights to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Prince George with connections to major international airports. Additionally, the site runs adjacent to an existing rail line with the potential for direct service to the lots.
