Councillor Dave Lueneberg
A relative newcomer, Dave moved to Taylor in March of 2014 and fell in love with the surrounding hills & scenery. Although raised on the Lower Mainland, Dave considers himself a small town boy, at heart, and looked for ways to get involved in the community last Fall, deciding to put his name forward for District Council. While new to Council, he brings several years of experience to his new role, having covered local governments in both BC and Alberta in his, almost 20 years, in radio and television. Dave, not only lives in Taylor, but works in the community, as well, as a scale operator at CRL Transload Services and is responsible for loading fracking sand for the many trucks you see in our community on a regular basis. While shy when it comes talking about himself, we can tell you that Dave is single and has become somewhat known for having a cat on his right shoulder while walking around the west side. Since joining Council in December, he's been able to represent the District at two conferences in Prince George and is quickly learning some of the challenges, but even more so, the opportunities that face our community in the years to come.
