Welcome to the 36th Annual World’s Invitational Class “A” Gold Panning Championships & the Taylor Gold Panning Weekend! The festivities begin on Saturday morning with a community parade. After the parade, everyone heads for Peace Island Park.

FUN!

This fun filled weekend features activities for the entire family, with an Arts & Crafts Fair, children’s games and activities, steak barbecue, pancake breakfast, horseshoes and much more! There will also be gold panning lessons offered for those interested in learning how to pan for gold.

COMPETITION!

Top level competitors from gold panning events everywhere are invited to battle it out for the Class “A” Championship Trophy. Class “A” panners will compete in three tests designed to measure speed panning, skill panning and fine gold panning. Based on an aggregate point system, panners are assessed penalty points for losing flakes and time.
