Peace Island Park is truly one of the most beautiful parks in the area.  Surrounded by the back waters of the Mighty & Majestic Peace River, the massive park space provides a pleasant mix of open and shaded sites for every type of camper, open areas for recreation & leisure pursuits, tranquil nature trails to view the abundance of flora and fauna, playgrounds & areas for children, and so much more.  Reservations are strongly encouraged.  A number of ‘Island sites’ have been reserved for Gold Panners.  If you would like to reserve one of these sites YOU MUST call the Park Caretaker at (250) 789-9295.  These sites are available on a first come first serve basis, and we are sure they will be scooped up quickly.
