5th Annual Taylor Sled Dog Races - March 21/22, 2009
It is with great pride and excitement that the District of Taylor will host the 5th Annual Taylor Sled Dog Races on March 21st & 22nd, 2009.
Once again, Peace Island Park (4kms south of Taylor) will be the location of all the races. Previous racers have described the trails as ' scenic', ' fast', 'challenging', 'a gas', 'pure fun' and much more. Essentially, the blend of up and down, in and out of the forest, driving the rivers edge and fast straightaways make for a very enjoyable course.
Trail Location
Peace Island Park (4kms south of Taylor, directly off the Alaska Highway (same location as previous years).

Registration
This year, a completed registration form for each class entry is required. Links to the registration forms are provided below. PLEASE NOTE – the registration deadline of Wednesday, March 18th will be enforced. Register ASAP!
Late registrations will be accepted, with start positions allocated in the order of them being received. Late registrations can occur by phone, email, fax (preferred), at the Mushers Meeting Friday night or at the race site Saturday morning between 10:00am- 10:30am.
Musher/Rules Meeting (MANDATORY)
@ Taylor Community Hall located Taylor town centre, use west access off Alaska Highway onto Cherry Ave East (street parallel to Railroad tracks) and then turn right into first parking lot entrance; 6:00 - 9:00pm, Friday, March 20th.
