Recreation Services - Community Hall
Built in 2001 the District of Taylor’s Community Hall is the newest hall in the area. The facility was constructed as a ‘built with wood project’ and is quite unique with its interior wood walls. Designed and built to the same standard as a full sized secondary school gymnasium, outfitted with a full kitchen, bar, air conditioning, sound system and projector complete with screen, this facility can be used for a variety of activities.
With a capacity for 464 people, the Community Hall is an excellent venue for weddings and Christmas parties. For smaller events like meetings, a divider curtain can be lowered to divide the hall into two with seating lowered to 232. Bookings can be made through the District Office at 789-3392.
Events that take place at the Community Hall include but are not limited to the following:
- Halloween Howl
- Christmas Light-up Celebrations
- Spanish Lessons
